In the Depths of the Pupils, I See My Home,
Even Though New Worlds Are Already Flowing Through My Veins

This work is about migration, both within the country and beyond its borders. The greenhouse serves as a direct symbol of home. This home is constructed from memories—photographs of the homeland printed on glass using cyanotype. Inside the house, new plants gradually appear, taking root and spreading.

An important aspect of this work is its performativity and transformation over time. At the beginning, the photographs are sharp and high-contrast, and there are almost no plants.

Then comes the influence of sunlight (in this method of exposure, lamps simulating the spectrum of sunlight are used). Sunlight helps plants grow and participate in photosynthesis, but it also directly affects the cyanotypes—under the influence of ultraviolet rays, the images gradually fade.

Thus, the final appearance of the work differs from its initial state. By the end, the photographs darken while the plants inside the greenhouse flourish, symbolizing the processes a person experiences when changing their place of residence.
